# Get App

> Get one sandbox or production app.

Returns one app, with the same fields as a [List Apps](https://docs.hopae.com/v2/api-reference/workspace/list-apps.md) item. The `Location` header of a [Create App](https://docs.hopae.com/v2/api-reference/workspace/create-app.md) response points to this endpoint.

## Headers

**Authorization** `string` *required*

`Bearer sk_workspace_...`, a Workspace API key of the organization that owns the app. See [Workspace API](https://docs.hopae.com/v2/api-reference/workspace/introduction.md).

## Path Parameters

**appId** `string` *required*

The app ID returned by Create App or List Apps.

## Response

`200 OK` with the app.

**appId** `string` *required*

The app ID. It is also the app's OIDC `client_id` and its Basic-auth username on the verification API. Read `environment` to tell sandbox and production apps apart; do not infer it from the ID.

**environment** `string` *required*

`sandbox` or `production`.

**name** `string` *required*

The app's display name.

**logo** `string`

The app's logo, as an `https` URL or a `data:` URI. Present only when the app has a logo. Otherwise the key is absent, never `null`.

**createdAt** `string` *required*

When the app was created, as an ISO 8601 timestamp in UTC.

The response does not include the App Secret. Copy it from the [Console](https://console.hopae.com) under **Developers → API Settings**.

## Errors

Besides the authentication and subscription errors that every route can return (see [Workspace API](https://docs.hopae.com/v2/api-reference/workspace/introduction.md#authentication-and-base-url)), this endpoint returns:

| HTTP | Code | When |
| :- | :- | :- |
| 403 | `AUTH_FORBIDDEN` | The app belongs to another organization |
| 404 | `RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND` | Unknown app, or the app was deleted |
